Dimes to date found at a WW2 Army Air Base here. It took me over a year to find these but it was alot of fun. Some of the Mercs have little wear and some are almost flat. I would like to post all the wheats i found but its hard to post a pic of over 700 coins. 8)
And I was wondering what happened to the change in my Grandfather's pocket during the War. They are a great find.....even my Grandpa would be proud!!!!!

WOW! b e a u t i f u l!
I was at a decommissioned base last month for a different reason. But had my detector in the car and took it out...just to let it ding...I wasn't going to dig. It hardly dinged at all in 15 min. I figured that area next to barracks had already been detected. Well, I did get one signal and kicked the dirt for a 1960 penny. Probably dropped the day before. Now I know...aa battery already cleaned the site out! Congrats!
Those are totally awesome! Wow 700 wheaties! You Should totally post a picture of those!
