Hello T-Netters,
this old account book came over my Grand-grandfather,
my Grandfather and my father to me.
It starts as early as 1881 .
Interesting to read is the materials and goods they sold to the farmers
(most of them europeans too) in those years where there were no cars
or buses ;D.
Just a glance how life must then have been.....
I will pass this book on to my childrens as a legacy of our american roots.
HH.
Mike

just take a look at Pic Nr. 015 .You will see that the " @ " we normally
use in our e-mails now were at that time already present ! ;D
That means nothing is new or just discovered ::) :D

That's a great family treasure and as well as being historically interesting, it's a good example of the lost art of beautiful hand writing.
Thanks for sharing it with us.
