Old English buckles and fasteners .
This photograph represents the best of the buckles and fasteners found this year.

Thats alot of buckles,and old ones too.If we find one that old in the U.S. we know we found a very old site....You guys are very lucky ,every where you look could turn up something 1000 yrs. old...Nice finds... relicdude

Early indications are that this one found today is a medieval silver buckle.

thats a nice find, silver medieval are rare. I have hundreds of buckles & only 1 silver med.

Its a buckle which is normally high grade pewter
