Found these 2 items about 25 yrs ago. I'm now 41 and can remember the digs like they were yesterday.........The badge is old......Nascarfan

Can anyone tell me anything about the badge. It says Junior Deputy Sheriff and on the bottom says Boone County MO.......At the time I was using an old D-TEX machine....Found lotsa silver w/ it......Now I have a white's 6000 di pro sl

I had one of those. got it in third or fourth grade when i was 8 or 9. It was kinda like a PR campaign not really an organisation like the Cub Scouts. they took us all to the lunch room, showed us a movie then, we took an oath to be good citizens, uphold the law and report any lawbreakers. We got the badge and a certificate that we wrote our names on. Ours read Houston county Ga though (pronounced howston, hyooston is in Texas) I'm 36 now so that had to be 1979 or 80.
