    Re: Cookie Jars

Thanks, I have one of those I believe. Sounds like a Brush McCoy Jar or an American Bisque . The Brush Jar has the cart on his back.

I am speechless. The antique road show would come to your house
I think the one I gave away was a McCoy.
Nice collection and thanks for showing.

On the 9th pic down, you have a jar that is in the very corner. A childs alphabet block with a clown head on it. That is the exact jar we had growing up. Can you tell me anything about it? I would appreciate any info you have on it. Thanks.

Might as well chime in with my collection. It's a shame that like most collectibles, the prices on ebay have dropped in the past 10 years. This was to be part of my retirement.

....last of the jars. The pitchers are Royal Daulton from 1900-1920, hard to find.

    Re: Cookie Jars

Nice Cookie Jar Collection. You have some good ones. Prices have fallen except for the very rare. The middle range jars and commons have all dropped. We got into jars back in the 80's when you could get them dirt cheap. My parents have a 700 Cookie Jar Collection and my sister another 200 or so. We have very little repeats between our collections. Kinda shows ya how many different Cookie jars were made. Here are a few more of my Jars.
I was beginning to wonder if anyone else on here collected them besides me.

    Re: Cookie Jars

The American Bisque Bear? Back in the day they'd go for 75 bucks. Prices are down nowadays. Bad time to sell pottery unless it's a really rare piece.
