I also like watches! Not more than detecting, but still like em! :) Steinhart makes a great watch for the money.

You need a chronograph! ;)

Nice looking collection. I have been collecting watches for over 30 years and have some nice watches. Almost all are automatic, with only a few manual wind. I have mostly USA and Swiss watches. Some are Benrus, Waltham, Clinton(german), Elgin, Hamilton, LeGant(swiss), Vostok(Russian)divers watch, Rolex, Bulova, Invicta, Swatch and even a few Timex. Also I sold a few down through the years, TAG huer, Invicta, Tissot and a few Timex. rockhound

Thx rockhound. I've been buying/selling watches for 10yrs now and like you mostly autos. I only recently started taking pictures of my watches but boy did I have some beauties throughout the years. I should probably start taking pics of my detecting finds. Some beauties in there as well :)

Non-detectorist, but I do enjoy the stories of people finding treasure.

I have three watches (10 year old Audermars Piguet Royal Oak, 25 year old Omega Seamaster and 84 year old Patek Phillipe which seems to have had a new 14ct case at some stage so maybe it was originally in a steel case) but looking to get a few more.

This is a cool thread! Great watches!

You guys might hate me for this one! I took my Omega and started skeletonizing it years ago and never finished it, So I ruined it!:laughing7: Unless I finish it one day.
