I know a few fokes that could use some of them

Some of these have been well used ie. chips, nicks, even a few cracked (not crackled) . Does that make a difference? Are they worth less? I would say, worth more (to prove they held up well).

That is weird how marbles turn up when digging pennies. I have found just about the same number of them. Most are from the forties. I think the reason is that in the forties we did not have T.V's to watch so we all played games like marbles, kick the can and flipping baseball cards.

Great stuff. Love finding marbles, wish I could tell what's what in the value department. Read some books, and I still can't tell most of them apart.

Nice bunch of marbles Larry. I have found about that many myself. Makes sense as we have been doing this about the same amount of time (35 years plus).
Last year a guy had four marbles from the 1880's that sold for over $8oo.
