Today, NDU "mashes" Stanford. So Chris Marinelli...chew on THAT one for awhile :P
This Stanford player (Chris Marinelli) said in an interview a few days ago:
"I hate it, playing up there," Marinelli said. "The field, excuse my language, the field (stinks). The stadium (stinks). I think the area (stinks) . . .
"I grew up with a bunch of Irish and Italian Catholic people back home, and all they talk about is Notre Dame this, Notre Dame that. And they've never even been there, ya know? So I hate those guys. I hate that school. . . . We are going out there to mash them up and that's all there is to it."
No matter, it's ALWAYS fun on game day in Da Bend.
My fave place on campus is the "God Quad"...it's in front of the main building, you can see it in the background in the 2nd pic, also known as The Golden Dome.
