Beautiful area Kim, what a shame the tower is not another 100 feet taller  than the view would be even better! Oh, send some of that rain down this way, getting dusty around here. :)

Looks like lots of nice old houses down there as well. New England is such a pretty area. My mother was born in Marlborough, Mass.

Mom is from Mass huh Jay? Neat. Do you folks ever get down this way? Tons of old homes around here.

I haven't been back East for years unfortunately. Time flies so fast. We just don't have the history here on the Westcoast, and the seemingly endless amount of old houses/buildings on the Eastern seaboard fascinate me.

I was surprised to hear that New Hampshire's Old Man in the Mountain rock collapsed in 2003. We used to drive by it to visit my aunt in the '60's. Always thought something like that would be there forever.

Thanks for the excellent photos and good memories.

Funny Jay we were just talking about the old man in the mountain yesterday. They are trying to raise money to rebuild it, I don't think that's quite right. Mother nature put it there and Mother nature took it away. To have it commercially rebuilt......it just won't be the same. :-\

Well take the time and come visit. :icon_sunny:

Granny, Pick one and I'll get you a price. Real Estate really isn't expensive around here. I guess it's all relevant though......the more the income level, the more the Real Estate? :icon_scratch:

And if I can in a few years maybe upgrade to a treehouse!

Don't worry Granny I have just the right tree.

Cptn. Not personally.

About 100 people spent the afternoon Monday milling around outside the Northampton Athletic Club for their cue to perform as background actors in Gibson's new movie, "Edge of Darkness." Location shooting around Northampton began that morning and is expected to continue today at the Hampshire County Courthouse. One of the extras waiting outside the King Street fitness club Monday was Maraya Sanderson of the Feeding Hills section of Agawam. Usually a theater

Coper, Should be your way this weekend if the rain holds out for you? Get us some pictures!

CG, Thanks for the great pictures, this refreshes my memory of the beautiful places
there, my last visit was Harvard Square, Boston trying to find a place to eat. Now you have erased that. I had fogotten all the beautiful places I had seen before.
I try to avoid those big cities now. Thanks for the new memories. Gnewt
