I was out in the woods hunting with Watercolor today. What a gorgeous day it was. ;D We each got a couple of nice finds, but as I was swinging, I heard a noise. When I looked up, I saw three deer having their morning meal. They are obviously used to people, as they didn't run away. One of them let me get about 20 feet away through the bushes. I'll attach a movie for all you deer lovers.

I think those deer were deaf. Had to be. When I go hunting, if I sneeze, 50 of them up to a mile away head away from me in all directions. No way that was not rigged, and Watercolor is good at that. He can paint a picture and make it move ... somehow! :D

Thanks for sharing! Great footage! :) :) :D

We are having trouble with the over population of deer here in Georgia. They have caused several vehicle accidents here too. We're just waiting for a die off from effects of too many of something in rapidly disappearing range.

Great pictures and video, That makes for a nice hunt.
Iv heard that the whitale deer kill more people and cause more property damage every year than any other wild animal.

i live in a very urban area, just minutes from downtown Wilmington, and i saw a deer standing next to the road last night! there is like an acre wooded area just adjacent to where i saw it but i am amazed that that small an area is big enough to support a population of deer. if i hadnt seen it with my own eyes i wouldnt believe it.

Thanks for the comments! I saw the bucks today. They were real skittish and made a wide circle around me, not like the doe.

Everytime I see animals close up, I marvel at them. There sure are some interesting creatures in this world.

Just one of those stupid rednecks here..... If nobody hunted them there would be so many that disease would wipe most of them out. Also, if nobody hunted them there would be thousands more car wrecks every year and lots of people killed because sometimes they go right through the windshield.

wvbullet, Evidently you have never done any hunting, or ever had to hunt to help put food on the table, or you wouldn't make a statement like that. But I am sure you are not fooling anyone but yourself, anyway.

Sounds like another one of those who like a good steak or cheeseburger,
but won't stop for a second & ponder where that meat came from. He
surely hasn't seen what I have in the mountains of Pa. , after a severe ice
storm & a month of below freezing temps. To come across a herd of deer
that starved to death, or those that slipped on the ice & broke their legs or
pelvices & slid down the mountains, unable to stand & died there after days
of slow death. A hunters bullet would have been painless compared to days
of agony. But who other than hunters are out there at 15 below zero to witness
nature at it's cruelest ? Screw these latte sipping fools, sitting indoors & believing
they have a clue as to what really happens in nature.
