maybe not at the park, but in the area. Stopped here on the way back from the CTH in Caldwell, KS. The location is Lake Providence, LA

You should of rode instead of detecting. ;D ;D Just joking, You saw me when I walked into the building, I was barely walking...10 hrs of riding that day and 9 hrs the day before and I was still late for the cow chip throwing contest and supper too. Needless to say, I did not take very many pictures while riding, I was scared that little camera would blow away.

 RR

lol you need a strap to tie to your A$$ so the camera doesn't blow away. Can't tie it to you because it would probably still blow away and take you with it! LOL

Hey Rat! I know exactly where you were! Road looks familiar, too. Yes, that corner of LA has some battleground history, but most of it has been torn up into farmland, and now abandoned to overgrown fields. Lake Providence isn't large, but its history is interesting. -Noodle

Noodle, that road is somewhere in OK heading down to Broken Bow. I was brave enough to pull the camera out of the holder and shoot this pic. Once we left Broken Bow it was country back roads all the way across AR till we reach Tallulah. The moon in the trees was taken that evening at home.

I did take a few pics in KS along the road but they didn't turn out, the wind was blowing too hard and I couldn't keep a steady hand.

 RR

We live in such a beautiful country. Go out and see what you can, even if its only day trips. Also I believe if God wanted us on two wheels Detroit would build a motorcycle.
