We live near the entrance to Yosemite. These are mule deer most bucks run between 150-200 lbs. One of our regular bucks
has a really atypical set of horns.

Nice! His left looks much taller than the right.

One day I'll post this California buck in velvet, if I recall, he's perfect from side to side with nice tall tines.

Love these pictures, HH! When you posted about him getting into the Christmas lights, I had to laugh. :D I had put out my Christmas lights several weeks ago and I decided to be different this year. I placed my fake reindeer up next to the boxwoods with the string of lights coming from the plants and wrapped around their antlers, as if they were being naughty. :D And here you have the real thing! 8)
