Wild Burro's and my new home..

hey gang,
I am in the process of moving ( taking my time and about 2 weeks ) to a area called Reche Canyon ( pronounced Ritchey ) where there is abundance of wildlife. On the way there I saw some wild burro and had to take a couple of pixs. Here are some scenes from my new frontdoor as well

Enjoy

Nice pics. I figured the local mountains would have snow on them. I guess the Santa Ana winds melted it

Re: Wild Burro's and my new home..

hey Dan,
I won't be completely moved in till the 1st of Feb, but I was told that there are some exploratory caves at the end of the canyon. I also have a line on the old stage station ( my landlady's boyfriend's son owns it ), and I have a GOOD chance to md it. There is also a story of lsot loot from a robbery in the area. Sometime in mid Feb I'll hit the hills and see what around..

Oh is that what he's doing. I thought he was just being helpful & trying to
push the other one up the hill. But really, some real nice photos of the area.

Cool pics. I think these may be the first wild burro I've seen, we don't have many of them in Ct. ;D Now tame a few to go out prospecting with, you'll need them to bring all your gold back. :)

hey gang,
I checked with one of the ranchers and ask if it possible to get up close to one... His answer was simple " Yeah, if you like to get kicked !!!! "

Looks like a nice warm place in the sun, PLL!

Do you have a dirtbike?
It's about the only way to follow trails out in the desert.

a 4 cycle engine with quiet pipe so people don't hardly know you have gone by...

GREAT PICS. Really beautiful surroundings to live in. And, most important, there should be some good stuff hiding out in the area.
Keep us posted.

Re: Wild Burro's and my new home..

hey gang,
Well... I should be done moving in 2 days...To answer some of your questions, Mental Granny- As much as I would like to TRY to get them to carry my gear, I don't think the " Peta " crowd would allow it ( although I do LOVE watching blow a gasket LOL ). Rmptr- I don't own a dirt bike.. But maybe I should start looking at one ( possibly ). I will post some more pixs after the move.. Got to get back to packin'

Have fun gang
