I found this interesting houses and farm scenes in rural Ohio today. Thought you all would enjoy them.

How do you arrange the furniture?

My new Barn and House...lol
I can't even afford the gate. Notice the number of garage doors on the BRICK barn. There are two more barns, in wood, behind the one showing.

It is an artistic/eclectic community. There are actually people walking around town that are left over from the 1960's: tie-dyed muumuu's and all.

The darn town is growing on me though.

Great pics!
Thanks for posting them.

I haven't worked on any 'fun' homes in a while...
People used to build them, here and there, before prices got totally out of control.
Now it's too much money involved, and sq footage rules.

Well, there's not much but very big ones being worked on right now....

Domes and octagons are fun...

I've known people living in domes. They are real cozy feeling.

Lots of little triangles of 'lost space' though.
...since most furniture is rectangular...

At the university they had fun trying to design 'out of the box'.
Can't remember anything ever being actually practical.
But it was fun!

Bicycles, in non-standard configurations from engineering dept were really wild! ;D

What a kicky place! I've got to visit that area sometime.

I love Dome houses and did you know the geodesic Dome has been known to be the only thing standing after hurricane winds, and even a direct blast of the Atomic bomb at Hiroshima!

Buckminster Fuller is one of my heroes! But then again, I am a sacred geometry nut :tongue3:
