You hit the nail on the head Cache Crazy. It gets down to what you can work with, and what feels good. You can buy guitars that look good, but you might not play them good. And you might have an ugly guitar, (which I got one of them) but you can play it like 'ringing a bell'. They can do all kinds of things in the studio, and with amps, and with effects these days so you can get any sound you want. But you gotta have the technique. It's all in the feel and if it fits. I like that Gretsch, so if you get one, let me know how you like it. If I could figure it out, I'd get a 12 string electric acoustic and I'd play it all day. Thanks to all y'all guitar killers.
