Beautiful colors, Fossis. That yellow flower is what I call "chickweed", may be call something else not sure...they're blooming here too and trying to take over the pasture. Cows won't eat it, besides that if I see one blooming in my yard, I'll sure to be digging it up and throwing in the garbage can.

Good pics, Fossis. I wish everybody could smell that black locust flower. I ain't there, but I can almost smell it now. Post us a picture of poke which should be up pretty quick and explain that to all our viewers!

Me too, it comes close to smelling like 'lilac's', I had to 'have me a good smell'. ;D
The polk is 'coming on,' picked some for my son the other day, i'll get some pic's later.

The blackberry....now that brings back memories from when I was a kid living in Porum OK.
We lived in the country between Porum and Warner. I remember picking berries with my cousin Barbara.

My husband doesn't like the Locust trees--he calls them "Jesus trees" with all those thorns and says they are horrible to ride horseback through while chasing cattle! ;D
