I got up in the middle of the night about a year ago and jammed my foot on the coffee table and I went to the Dr. and he said the x-rays were fine. Well, I limped on it all summer and all winter and finally got tired of limping and went back to the Dr...... He sent me to a specialist and he said I had a compression fracture in my foot. He took 2 nerves out of my foot and I sit here in quite a lot of discomfort. He says I should be good as new in about a month though. Pray for me if you don't mind. Here's the "poor pitiful me pics", lol...

Hey get well soon. Ha, reminds me of when we lived in Wyoming. I fell off a ladder and went to the rural clinic for help. Heel hurt like the devil. Local doc said the xrays didn't show anything. After 3 months of some serious pain I was sent to see a specialists. An MRI revealed a factured heel!!! Not to worry though since it was already starting to heal. :icon_scratch: We will all stop detecting until you get well ;D

Hey y'all... thanks for all of the best wishes and the humor added in too. Tennesseegal is my little sister and the best sis anybody could ask for. I just wanted to introduce her to you all. She's good people. She don't say much but when she does it's a goodin..., lol. Doc gave me some good drugs for the pain and dared me to take the bandage off my foot. I have to tell you all that I want so bad to rip that thing off and scratch for a week, lol... Hope you all find the biggun

Hey Dang, I'm with somebody else here ... I get surly when they pop off in the cheek on what might or might not be wrong with me. Get another Dang opinion! Sorry, but I've had the same happen. "Just a sore foot; it'll go away." Damn broke is what it was! Twice! -Noodle

Kirstin last fall jumped off a fence and next am could not bare weight so her mom took her to ER he almost said she was faking it (since he was able to make her laugh) later that week a specialist in OKC called and said bring her there so they could look at her injury (her regulat Dr. ) had sent the xrays to them!

I'm doing some better now. Most of the swelling has left and I can wiggle my toes now. It's wierd to have a toe that is completely numb. I'll probably be off work another week, I guess? Thanks again for the thoughts and prayers.

Double Dang! Wow, why on earth did they think it was a better idea to remove nerves than to fix the fracture?!!! :-\ I just don't get it. I hope you are out and around soon. I know a place we can go search when you are up to it! Don't let Melessia spoil you too much while you are laid up! ;D
