I have a creek behind my house and the ducks come by everyday to eat bugs from the yard. These were taken a few weeks ago, I think they are Mallards.

An adult teal weighs only about 1 to 1 1/2 pounds. Those look like a hen mallard and her chicks. When I used to duck hunt, the green or blue winged teals were the hardest fowl to shoot, dang thangs fly 60mph. Try hitting one coming straight atcha, believe me, if ya hit it with a full choke, you'll never have to go lookin' for it ;D.........NGE
