I took over 800 pictures and that was not nearly enough. The first picture is of the cliffs of moher a breathtaking place to visit. I am not much for the tourist thing . This is a must see place 2nd picture is in Ballybunnion on the cliff walk along the atlantic ocean. 3rd pic is of a church out on the western most part of ireland falmore The ruins are more than 700 yrs old Achill Island is in the background to the south another breathtaking place to visit.

Dylan

Excellent shots Dylan, Man that whole country must be riddled with history, I bet those cliffs have sent a few sailers to their graves early.

Re: A few ireland pics

Aw, those are cool, man. The sky goes on forever and it looks like the water is always reaching for the land to drag it back into the sea, one grain of sand or pebble at a time. I'll never go there. I'm Scots-Irish and Native American, so I probably have ancestors from there, but this is my land now. I can see why Ireland has produced so many great writers and poets, just look at your pics. Thanks for posting them.

I was in Ireland once for about an hour. On the way home from Wheelus AFB, Libya our plane had a one hour lay over at Shannon Ireland. It was a duty free port. All I had time to do was grab an Irish coffee and look out of the airport window at the Irish landscape. There didn't seem to be many trees and it was green fields with stone fences a far as I could see. Nice pictures. Monty

Same thing here Monty, only stopped on the way to Saudi Arabia and on the way home, but have a lasting memory of seeing those bright green fields as we approached for landing and again on takeoff! Beautiful area...........
