That's a pretty pic. You're farther north than me, but no snow yet. That's kinda strange.

RGINN, We rarely have snow this early. In the northern part they usually have in inch or 2 or 3 by gun
deer season which is Nov. 15. I now live in southeastern Michigan near the foot of Lake Huron and we usually
at least have a white christmas. Then we get it in Jan. Feb and March. Then it seems like it takes forever
for spring to get here once it starts. LOL. In the winter we have a lot of cold gray days when it doesn't
do anything; it just stays a cloudy for days and days at a time before we see a clear sky and sunshine again.
That is when you really appreciate the sun. LOL.

Rookie2, Thanks. I see you are in michigan, too. What part are you in?

nice picture, I wish our trees would change down here, but they turn a kind of yellow and then the leaves fall
seeing colors like that would be a nice change

We have a few in the area but here yellow and they slowly fall off and the pretty colors here they don't last long with all the rain and wind there gone, if your not out those few days you miss it!

Sniffer, yup it is nice to see the bright pretty colors for a while before they fall. They usually
last for several days after they peak in color unless we get good wind or a heavy rain for a day or so.
That will strip a tree in a hurry.

Granny, I'll see if I can get a few pics of some of the different colors as they come out around here.
The far northern part of the state has already peaked out and it's working it's way down to my area.

Have a good day,

Ray

Its amazing how VIBRANT some trees look in the fall. You never notice them until they start to turn and then "BAM!" they're beautiful all at once! Mental Granny is right about our trees here in Oklahoma--you have to look really quick to see the color change before the wind blows the leaves away.
Great picture, Ray!
