Great Fun In the Tennesee and North Carolina Mountains
Yes it's Grand. Old time pics of people doing great things.
It's taken many hours to retrieve these historic photos.
When my wife and I came to here to run the education center there was literally 8 photos of the 80 year facility existence. I have managed to find 70 and continue to search many databases so we may continue to save the history here.

Those are some great old pictures, 4-H! It really makes the history of that place come alive when you see it in print. What are the girls doing in the 5th pic(13379)? I have an old wooden tray like that and have always wondered what it was for? Thanks for sharing!

It's the game "mancala". Still widely available today.
You might consider a "before" and "after" photo comparison and publish a book... a little work for a little extra income. Just thinking you could sell copies to campers... might be a hit!

"Mancala" Fantastic Jim.
We are currently in the process of the book. "Now and Then"
Were going as far as letting the kids at "modern camp" dress like the kids in the old photos. It's a lot of fun.
were trying to get as close as we can to the old photographs.
Thanks HHHH
