Here is a pic of one of my fallow bucks from down under new zealand-if you know where that is-he nocked one of his antlers in early velvet,so hence one good antler and one wonky one-summer here in newzealand so we are in the middle of fawning as well-a bit late for us as we artifically insemenated the does to get a better genetic base for our deer.
we breed them to send off to the trouphy parks to be shot by tourist hunters.
hope you like the pics ill post some more later -this pic was taken 1-3-2010
we have a small heard of whitetail deer in 2 places in newzealand but the genetics are not that good -the animals are small and dont grow very big heads-ive shot a few at stewart island at the bottom of newzealand
cheers and the best to every one this year

Good pics and welcome, silver hoarder. Be forewarned, you will stir some folks up with that info about breeding them for trophy parks for tourists to hunt. Post some more pics when you can; those deer are interesting.

Pretty neat looking deer, How much do they weigh on average? They look smaller then our whitetail deer.

greetings, silver hoarder, welcome to tnet. These are some really good shots, The deer are very interesting, full-grown
with such great-looking racks and still spotted like a fawn. I'd like to see some of them in real life. I suppose they
lose their racks each year, also? If they do, you must be able to get alot of them and are they of a good texture for
making things like knife handles, pistol grips, and other things of that nature?
Thanks for sharing the pics.

Have a great day, :hello:

Ray
