reminds me of marine corps bootcamp on parris island. the Slide for Life was a rope you slide down over a fenced in pond. the pond was surrounded by a fence, to keep the alligators out. i didnt fall off the rope! lol

Well...got the letter back today :-\

It seems the land owner is "indisposed" at the moment so the letter is from the owners daughter. Apparently she is aware of 2 retired officers that are the only people with permission to detect the site :'( So it wasn't a straight "no"...it was a "don't worry, they got it covered" ::)

If either one of you are out there...let me know if you need a hand!! :dontknow: lol

Oh well....back to the books....
I will still be posting the old pic once I get a chance
