winter is headed this way, i'm getting ready

small stove in bsmt. burns lots of wood trying to keep my tarpaper
shack warm, the 2 trailers are loaded and ready to wheelbarrow into
the bsmt. saves nancy from having to go so far just to load up. i back
the trailers up to the bsmt door, see how good i am to her----lol

Looks like you are ready.Hope it's not as bad as they are predicting.You and Nancy stay warm and safe and I don't want to hear any excuses about maybe missing the CTH3 hunt in May.You can come out of those woods long enough for that.Be careful if you get that ice!

Looks like you're ready, I miss my wood stove, this is the first time in 13 yrs that I can really get warm, we had central heat, now we have natural gas wall heaters.

thanks folks, i burn a lot of wood during winter, usually 12 ricks or more,
i may be a little short this year, i also have a propane furnace for backup
so as long as the elec dosent fail, we will stay warm, its just that i like the
wood stove, lots of trouble but heck thats all i am anyway--lol

bildon---are you sure you got the name right?
you may be thinking of old goat??
i cant help you...

lots of times i see my name spelled wrong here and i know that i am
the one being mentioned.....

Whew !
I can imagine how you feel !
Heating with wood warms you up plenty... when you drop the tree, when you buck it up, when you split it, when you load it, when you stack it... seems like it never ends keeping you warm !
