I drove over the mts & explored the 'headwaters' of the Kiamichi river today, snow was still on the north slopes, & the creeks were running fast & furious.
Wild Holly trees grow everywhere, I saw deer camps, part of a mule shoe from the logging days, concretions, etc......
Kiamichi is a french word meaning, (water bird), the mts north of the river have the same name.
I think these creeks are some of the 'prettiest' I have ever photographed in this area.

Hello Fossis, OkieHillBillie here. just seen your post it looks like a very pretty place you will have to take us down there one day.
The water and the white tree's looked like a place where a fellow could really enjoy some R&R.

She and I.
