that looks like it would be so much fun!! but it would also just be another way for me to kill myself! I wonder what top speeds are, & how do they deal w/ bumps in the ice at high speeds.

Well, they have quite a bit of snow on top of the ice so that takes care of the bumps. I don't know how fast they can go, but some were zipping along. They had a competition over the week-end, which got shut down Friday due to too much wind. A lot of the folks in these pics are ones who are just learning.
