And greetings to the Ukraine from the Indian Nations and the United States of By God America. I have no idea what those coins are, but they're cool finds by any standards. Welcome to Tnet, too.

Thanks for the greetings!

It was not possible to dig in Ukraine due to severe winter for the last 3 month. So this was the first time in this season. Hope to dig something more interesting next weekend.

Those coins are old Russian coins from "tsar times":
first - 1 kopek 1841
second - 2 kopeks 1763
third - 1 kopek 183... (most probably 1833)

Is that a Garret Ace 250 I see?
Gee, I would love to trade some American coins for the old Russian coins!
That is exotic to someone who rarely sees foreign coins.

Yes, that's Garret Ace 250, however all coins were found by Minelab X-Terra 705 ;D
It is a bit difficult to trade coins to/from Ukraine as per local customs regulations it is forbidden to transfer anything older than 50 years abroad. :icon_scratch:

Hello Ukrainian. I have an ex pat New Zealand brother who lives in Kiev now and he has a detector. He travels to some of the smaller villages (Radinka and Lesniki) in the area and he says he hasn't had a chance to go out detecting. I think his wife keeps him too busy...... There should be some good coins over there and I wouldn't think detecting would be a real popular sport?
