My oldest daughter, Josie, turned 15 today! (She's the picture taker) So, we went to the woods for her birthday ---kinda a country girl's birthday. It was absolutely beautiful---the temps were in the 60's with a light wind. Everything is in bloom! The redbud trees are exceptionally gorgeous right now and we even saw some wild strawberry plants blooming. The scissortail flycatchers are back and the frogs are jumping. We even found a puddle with lots of tadpoles. We saw some really old sycamore trees along the creek. The girls threw rocks in the creek and even skipped a few. It was a wonderful day! Here's some pics from our day----Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking!
