    Cotopaxi, CO, wildlife

The Cotopaxi Store is pretty much the center of everything on a blue highway along the Arkansas River. I played tourist and chased some sheep around and got some reasonable pics. They tolerated me.

Yeah those are 'wooden Indians' Fossis, plus a female you don't usually see in wood. It's one of those places you stop in and they remember you next time. We're in the off season now for another couple of weeks, so it's pretty much just local folks around now. Never thought I'd be considered a local up here, but I'm gettin there. The folks here ain't much different than us, anyway.

Oh man those guys are down again ha?
I can remember they would come off the mountains and lick the salt off the roads and eat the exposed grass. Tourist's would cause traffic jam's taking their photos.
    Good pics!

We were in Canon City yesterday, ChrisP. I always stop at that one station where Big Daddy's Diner is, cause I like to look at that coin operated Elvis fortune teller. Sounds like we might be passin each other on the road all the time and don't know it. No snow today, and Chinook winds comin down!
