Re: Smoky Mountain Artifact Research and Treasure Society Annual Hunt

Hey Mike,
Our annual club spring hunt really was a great success and I want to thank you for helping with it and donating prizes. Our final total of all the prizes including silver coins, Civil War Memorabilia, metal detectors, and other items was in excess of $3000.00 dollars. With over 1,000 silver coins alone. I am already planning our Fall hunt and hope you can be there with us. It is an open hunt sponsored by SMARTS and is scheduled for Sept. 25th. All monies collected from the entry fees goes towards purchasing silver coins for this hunt. So the more that hunt the more coins that get buried. Entry fee has not been determined at this time

I attended the club hunt. I Actually found more in this club hunt than the prior fall and spring hunt combined. :headbang:

The donated prizes were awsome. We really had a great turnout and will hopefully keep getting greater and greater. I would reccomend that ANYONE drive ANY distance to come out and hunt with us...IT IS WORTH IT!
