Went over to Twin Lakes and Mt. Elbert Four Bay scoutin out the fishin, looked over some of the old structures from the mining era. Found some good spots but too many folks out, so I'll head back tomorrow when all the front range folks have to work.

Can't take a bad pic up here, mountainplayer, although I'm tempted to take some and post them for laughs. Ron! Gold and Silver mining is a lot of hard work! I panned out 2 flakes of honest to goodness gold a couple of weeks ago in the Arkansas. I have lowered my expectations for nuggets the size of goose eggs to maybe the size of pigeon eggs or so. I've seen some flour gold and am slowly getting better at it.

Very nice man...you've got a good eye for composition and light. These are all framers I think. Mind if I use one of your images for a painting?

Feel free to use any pic I post on here, thirty7. But you got to post your painting for all of us to see. I appreciate any and all artwork pretty much, cause I realize where it comes from and what goes into it. What medium do you work in most? About 25 years ago a local newspaper called me an 'artist in the genre of abstract realism'. I have thought about that and finally decided he meant I wasn't exactly Norman Rockwell, but I thought it was cool as all get out at the time.
