saying a prayer

I was sitting on my back porch watching the little birds and looking at my porch pot. This robin landed on my fence and was panting (it was 92 humid degrees) it looked to me like he was saying a prayer that went like this; Dear Lord, please make it rain... Well, guess what it is doing out there now? The pansies are a little wilted from the heat, but are well watered.....NGE

I remember growing up near Lansing, seeing them in the spring, was always a welcome sight

Believe it or not, but some of them actually spend the winter here. Don't know where they hide, but have seen them in the snow. I think I read somewhere that they will change their prefered food to grains instead of meat..........NGE
