I agree with Fossis---that is such beautiful country......Its almost unreal looking sometimes, because it looks so pure and untouched by man.

They would run and hide in the rocks extractor, but if you sat real still they'd pop back up pretty close. I had to back up to get a focus on that 75-300 lens. I don't know a lot about some of the local wildlife here, so seeing one for the first time I didn't know but what a marmot might try to rip your throat out or something. I think they're pretty harmless, but that moose that chased me back to the pickup kinda put me on my guard.
