Quartz, Crafts, & Quilt Festival

Today scotto & I went to Mt. Ida Ar to the festival, we have gone for four years, i went several years before that.
We visited with friends, bought some nice Crystals & Minerals, & had a great day out, stopping on the bridge & taking a pic of the beautiful Ouachita river on the way home.
If you ever get the chance 'come on down', it's the second weekend of Oct every year.
Sorry ladies no pic's of (crafts & Quilts).

We always have a 'good trip' when we come down, they also have crystal digging contests at some of the local mines, & you see a lot of 'muddy knees' at the end of the day.
The crystal veins run from near Broken Bow OK to near Little Rock AR, colors run from green, black, striped (coon tail), to pinkish inclusions, plus some are flat shape (tabular) , skeletal, (look like cracked ice), & some have water bubbles trapped inside, not to forget 'Herkimers' also. :P
I've traded my fossils for Crystals & minerals since 1994, that was my first rock swap.

Thanks, the one in Scotto's hand sold for $20.00, they range from a buck each, to several hundred, some in the thousands. ::)
Lots of folks do believe they have powers, as do the (Shamens of South America). :dontknow:
