It started snowing here last night on and off, but we are not getting it as bad as they are further north. My farmer phoned me and asked me to pop up to the farm to sort his computer out, which I did, and he has given me a new field to detect as payment :hello2:. It's really beautiful round the farm, long tree lined driveway and wildlife everywhere.

The last two are just some of the local pheasants

Oh boy, that looks cold. Snow is always pretty though. What are you anticipating the new field will turn up? I hope you find lots of good stuff.

Can you say, "Pleasant valley pheasant plucker?" LOL

I'm not a pheasant plucker, I'm a pheasant pluckers son ;D.
The field is totally new to me so I don't really know what to expect, although it is situated inbetween two fields that have turned up a lot of Saxon finds. Also being right next to the farmers house and buildings it hasn't been detected yet as far as the farmer is aware. He does like his privacy and keeps an eye out for nighthawkes.

Wow! I would not be able to sleep until I got a chance to dig that field. Can't find anything that old with a metal detector around here. Good luck.
