Let's Go For a Boat Ride!

Yea just brought me another boat & after a little work on it I needed a boat ride.Had to paint the bottom,and rewire the trailer light's.Then spent a few day's looking for a motor.But all done now so thought I grab the camera on my way out and we all could go.

Just another small skiff but with 30 horses on the back to assure a cold tears to the eyes ride. Needed the extra push to shove oysters out with.

It sure is BS,I think the cold has everyone in shock down here. 21 degrees here this morning I'm only 4 or 5 miles from the Alantic Beach Circle.Those pics were from down east Sea Level (salters creek)the canal joins Core Sound with West Bay over in Pamlico Sound.The canal is about 4 miles long and makes a nice peaceful ride out in the boonies.
