Gettin high with 'Flat Stanley'

Helpin out with a school project. This little guy came into Colorado yesterday, so I thought I would take him around sightseein. I don't think he realized how cold it would be so I had to hook him up with warmer clothes. This is a big country and he's a little guy, but he's hangin on for dear life at the bottom of the sign. He's restin up for tomorrow.

Ohhhhhh.....I remember taking flat Stanley to work with me, he rode the front seat of a fire engine and saw some structure fires.
Then he moved on to a good sized dairy farm, he saw some cows being milked and rode a tractor.
He also got to spend a shift in an Emergency Room with Dr's, nurses and patients.

Re: Gettin high with 'Flat Stanley'

Just received a Flat Stanley in the mail a few days ago...

Late gettin here...missed a long vacation along the California coast...

Missed the Giant Redwoods, the seeing Paul Bunyon and the oxen of the Blue Ox Mill in Eureka, our Dexter cows at the Ferndale Dairy, the Lost Coast with its 200 inches of annual rainfall, the Elephant Seal Colony just above Hearst Castle, and of course, Cambria Pines.

Also missed being a part of our Chanukkah celebration and experiencing the tradition foods and stories. Would have been a good cross-cultural experience.

However, we plan on giving him a tour of our architectural office and maybe a work-in-progress site. My wife plans on introducing him to a Red Cross Blood-For-Life drive and maybe a T-Shirt.

Also plan on a visit to the Laguna Beach Sawdust Festival...and maybe a walk on the beach at sundown.

Yup, I agree with Mike. I'll bet a lot of time and planning went into the final design on that sign. Very
well done.

Thanks for sharing .

Great sign. I had to look to see him stuck up there. Keep him away from the fire when you take him camping !! LOL
