First day out for 2011

I haven't been out since before Christmas. It was a beautiful day today. The soccer fields were buttery soft. It was only about 1 1/2 hours but it sure felt good. Except for leaving my kneepads at home. I got my first ring of 2011 on my first outing of the year. A cheapo toe ring, but I'll take. I hope it's a good omen. I also found a silver wire (part of a earring?) and some clad. The soccer fields have a bunch of plywood coyotes around to chase away the geese. As you can see from the picture they don't work. The geese wandered by this one within about 20 feet. Sorry for the low quality shots. They were taken with my phone. I had my GB Pro today.

I'm about 7 miles west of Denver. The weather outlook isn't very good for this weekend. I'm starting to get the fever.
