frozen water ;D
Ths is the 3rd time i was out on the lake observing the ice fisherman do what they do.
I really got an education on tools of the hobby and ice. 1st time out it was 12 inches.
Few day after that we got about 8 inches of snow. Then it warmed up some and it
melted the snow. The result is what you see 17 1/2 inches thick and a smooth sheet of ice.
Kinda scary too constantly hearing the ice shift and crack.

I hope it wasn't too deep jeff Believe me i had the Fear every step i took.

I was amazed at the thickness 17 1/2 inches, and standing 10 foot away
from the hole moving up and down ..... watching the water rise and drop ???
Plus the ice constantly heaving and loud cracking - amazing. I never experienced that before.
Once in a lifetime lol I'm ready for spring :icon_sunny:

Well I Couldn't swim & I Went Straight down
over my head. I Remember life being like a Dream
& Woke up Grabbing for the Ice. That was over 40
years ago & I Remember it like it happend this morning.
But that's all another story.

That ice Cracking sound Is something I Can do without
