No ma'am. This is at mile 86 however we did load our barges at the Terra Nitrogen dock in Catoosa several days ago. The port of Catoosa is at mile 445. The closest well known city to Lock and Dam 5 is Pine Bluff.

Hi Capt'm, my grandfather was a construction carpenter/jack of all trades and he worked on a few Arkansas river projects in the early to mid sixty's around the Hartman area, my grandma still lives there in Coal Hill on the Mountain. The Plumber. Thanks for the pictures.

Looks similar to some of the dams on Oregon's Columbia River.....if you get a chance, it would be worth your while
to drive the Columbia River Gorge. Nothing like it anywhere else that I have seen/been.

I still like lookin at these pics cause I knew the Arkansas from Oklahoma. Now I'm up here where it starts, and I can put a foot on each side and straddle it.
