Love 'em! They are so much fun, our latest one, Chigger, is six months old now. Hey savant, we have a deaf one too, he is 3 years old, and huge. Needs more activity, I'd like to take him walking, but I'm afraid he'll escape on his own sometime. do you watch your cat when she's out? We have a female who learned the yard perimeter on a leash, and as long as someone is with her, she gets to run around, scared to try it with Goober. :dontknow:

We bought Pudge a harness and a leash. She's not very fond of it but she loves to be outside. She got out of it tonight some how but we caught he before she got to the street. Yeah it's scary, she can't hear cars and is basically fearless.

I read somewhere that a white cat with blue eyes were more likely to be deaf...I have one with blue eyes, she can hear but acts like an airhead. I'm not really a cat person, always had dogs. January 2010, during what I think was the coldest night of the year with about eight inches of snow on the ground, I had started outside to get something from the truck. There on the porch was a cat begging to come inside it was so cold I felt sorry for her and let her in. Now fourteen months and three litters later she thinks she owns the place

This one is deaf. She chases the vacuum cleaner and will ride around the yard with me on the mower. The funniest thing about her is sneaking up on her ...she gets so surprised, it's hilarious.
