What lovely clear pictures those are. It's the cats you have to watch when birds nest so low down.

I'm not sure how many more pictures I can get. They are big enough to leave the nest any day now.
I hope to get a picture of one on the edge of the nest ,right before it's first flight .

Ok this morning I missed the one that left,,, now there is only one in the nest. It is hard to believe that there were 2 baby birds in the nest yesterday cause this guy takes up most of it him self.

Those pics are worthy of National Geographic IMO. Thanks for sharing.

I would have guessed it was too cold in your area for tiny hummers yet. What flowers are blooming there?

Here in PDX have lots of Anna's but have only seen one nest and the parent's weren't too happy about that being found. See one daily outside my computer window feeding on Andromeda and rhododendron.

Ha. It would be easyer to say what Isn't blooming Here. The purple leaf plum trees bloomed 3 weeks ago. Right now in our yard the Lemmon tree, Rosemary, Hawthorn and the bearded Iris are all in bloom. Last Thursday / Friday it was right at 90 degrees here at our house. Here in the lower Southwest USA , a lot of the humming birds stay around year round. We have 2 humming feeders here that we fill up year round to keep the humming birds going.

Well they are both gone from the nest. The nest is made from spider webs.
The single humming bird is the mom.
The last picture the mom is on the upper part of the branch feeding the baby.
