Maybe they're tired of bumping their a** when they hop. Sorry, couldn't resist. Those are very good pics. My granddaughter wanted to know if they ate the birds.

I evicted the one in the second picture two nights in a row. There are eggs in the nest and I am concerned that the frog may make a meal out of the hatchlings. I don't know how to keep him out of the box. The last time I moved him to the woods over 100 feet away. Of course it's possible that there may be more than one.

The mother bird is smaller than the frog! She's a chikadee.

well in that case the frog might be waiting fer lunch to hatch --or mom to eat. --but unless she returns no hatching = no lunch fer him.
