Here are a few from today, the hedgehog was out in the sun, but was too young and too small to survive. It was about 5 inches long, nose to tail. I don't normally interfere with nature, but Benson wouldn't leave it alone and just laid down by it's side. So I called our local wildlife rescue guy, and he came down and took it in to care. He called me this evening to say "she" was doing fine . Anyway, enjoy the rest of the pics .

Great job as always, I can't decide which of today's photos I like best, they are all good. I'm sort of leaning toward mama duck as my favorite. (I like how you caught the water dripping from her beak.) But the ducklings are just too cute...I'm happy I don't have to just pick a winner from this group. Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful day.

Hey hammer, great pic's. I'm not familiar with your Kestrals over there. He looks like the red-tailed hawks we have living around us here. A raptor bird? He is very beautiful. Good going with the hedgehog too. Many a little animal I have taken to the wildlife refuge here. I've also relocated about 50-60 something racoons and possums, back to the Everglades, in 16 years, I call it the
patty-possum-racoon-relocation-project, we get over-run with critters, from time to time. Keep up the great pics, I really like them!

Good shots!! Like that little Hedge Hog.

We have a lot of Kestrels her but difficult to get close to. Birds in flight are very hard for me.

Also got a kick out of your flying Magpie post. :icon_thumright:
