That tulip poplar bloom is very nice as are the rest of them. I see you have Brown Thrashers up there too. It's our state bird.

The Brown Thrashers nest in the yard every year. Our state bird is the "Mockingbird".... The "Tulip Poplar" is the state tree for Tennessee, and the Iris is the state cultivated flower.

Oh thank you so much for those! I brought tubs of bulbs, (my moms iris's, amaryliss, crocuses, etc....),to Fla, years back,
they most ALL turned to MUSH, in the humidity down here.
(I hope ya'll do the Martin gourds every year too, no skeeters)

No birdhouses but "skeeters" aren't very bad here...after the chiggers and ticks get through eating the "skeeters" are just starved out I think.
