But when they are this size one is all you need. This is my neighbor holding a Zucchini squash that came from our garden. We normally don't let them get this big but somehow we overlooked this one.

Very similar to carrot cake but made with shredded zuchini. More on the order of a dense sweet bread or cake. There are many recipes
at this site http://www.cooks.com/.

Thanks chefman, page bookmarked and the recipe will be tried :icon_thumleft:

If I can't get it fresh from the oven I like to warm my zucchini bread up in the microwave for about 10 seconds.

That is huge. We've had that happen to us a few times, I cut them long ways take out the seeds and stuff them with meat & bake them.

Ewww black olives in zuck bread...never heard of it. Not saying it would taste bad, just not something I would think would be in bread.

mini is right on. Baked zuccs are delicious. My son has a neighbor that asks for all of his oversized squash so they can bake them. Ity's their favorite way to fix them. They can be stuffed with all kinds of stuff. Fix up some ground beef, rice etc. and top with cheese, onions and tomatoes and bake away.

How bout' it dude mine arent even out of the ground yet do to our Intermountain spring we've had this year. I have fifteen of them seeds planted with some fresh bunnie droppins for fertilizer. What did you use for fertilizer? Hollow it out and put hamburger in where the seeds were, put it in the oven in tin foil at 350 for forty five minutes or so and wa-la meat and a vegetable low carbs and tasty. The Plumber.

Here's what they'll look like. This came out of a previous garden. This year's crop is just getting started.

Plumber,
We do not use fertilizer or herbicides. And we only use pesticides as a last resort and that would be 5% Sevin dust. Each fall I till the plant remains into the soil. Then I plant a winter garden of turnip greens, collards, cabbage, broccoli and onions. When we harvest them in the spring I till in the remnants and plant my spring garden.
