This little lady stopped for a few seconds this afternoon, long enough to check out the "yucca plant" Don't like those things...one of my wife's flowers that just won't die, I have pulled some up and threw them into the woods...they just come back plus the part I threw away took root and now lives in the woods. Darn here I am off topic again...here is the lady hummingbird. Enjoy and everyone have a great day.

No Sir, no breaks for the wife...she doesn't need them. (It is obvious she doesn't read this isn't it? ) They really aren't that bad...I was always told a truck driver wasn't happy if he wasn't complaining, so I'm happy.
I wish I could capture an image of a male they are much more colorful, but they seem to be camera shy. We have a few different species across the USA this area has the "Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds" fun to watch them, they have the ability to hover and fly backward, their wings beat so fast they sound like a big bee.

These are Nice!! I really like the hummer pictures with real flowers, rather than in front of a feeder.
