4th of July party on the 3rd

Had a big bash on the 3rd of July. Had it on the 3rd so folks could have a day of rest. Took a lot of work but had a great time. My sons even scratched out a softball field for the festivities. Had horseback rides, bouncy house, HUGE American flag, horseshoe tournament and more. Uncle Sam even showed up with his fiance. People pitched tents and showed up in motorhomes. A helicopter even turned around, flew low and circled the property to see what was going on.

Yep, had a ton of fun. The topper was on July 4th. My granddaughter took her oath and joined the US Navy in front of a big croud at the fairgrounds. She wants to be a rescue swimmer. She was on the college swim team and also competed in the one and three meter dive competition. Came in 7th overall in both events at the nationals.
