While on our trip to Pa, we visited Gettysburg, we took the vehicle tour with a DVD explaining what happened at every stop, we stood on top of 'Little Round Top', drove by the 'Wheat Field' where so many died that the field was covered in blood.
One barn has a 'cannonball hole' from the battle, it is still being used by a family who lives on private property, over a million items were recovered from the battlefield, with several on display in the Museum.
It was a 'very sobering' experience to see this battleground where so many gave their lives.
