Our 15yr old Maltese died and it was sure lonely around here. We went to an animal rescue shelter and Rusty caught our eye by walking on his hind legs. We sent this photo to the 10yr old grandaughter on Okinawa and she named him Rusty. We told rusty that his mother was a Siberian Husky and his father was a Timber Wolf.
His job is to keep the carabou and penguins out of the coy pond. So far,he is doing his job and we have not been overrun with carabou or penguins. However, grasshoppers scare the hell out of him.
